About this cartoon: Sinclair Broadcasting is trying to become the nation's largest chain of TV stations, and to become its most politically controlling chain. The far-right company (vying with Fox News to see who could be more extreme) ordered its news anchors across the nation to read a script decrying "fake news" -- strongly echoing Donald Trump's constant slam at the news media -- and a mash-up of dozens of anchors robotically reading their lines simultaneously made for a startling viral video.
